“My husband John invented Matsana in 2009.  He came up with the idea in response to an article in the NYTimes about dermatologists discovering that many of their patients had bumps on the palms of their hands and soles of their feet.  The common thread between all of them was yoga.  John wanted to create something simple and easy to use that would kill bacteria on yoga mats.  Here we are in 2022.  Matsana was sold to Lightworker a year ago.  Lightworker has taken the technology and design of Matsana and they are providing a much needed service to the yoga world.  I teach yoga at Alisal Ranch in Solvang CA.  One of the Matsana machines is in the studio and everyone appreciates knowing that their mat has been sanitized before they take class.  It is efficient, simple and effective.  A wonderful machine created by a wonderful man.”
